Gokayama is well known for traditional “Gassho-style” houses and is designated a World Heritage site. It wins three stars, or the top grade, of the famous tourism guidebook, Michelin Green Guide Japon, and surrounding historic spots also win two stars. Gokasanso is a hotel located in Gokayama Onsen hot springs near Gokayama and well situated for visiting the World Heritage site. Because we are a government-operated hotel, you can stay easy in mind in terms of amenities and prices.
